Skan is a duo comprising of performers Emmanuel Lorien and Mikey Kirkpatrick.

Our sound is an electro-acoustic texture combining granular synthesis, live sampling, liquid tension, circular breathing, plastics and chemical reactions.
We explore the synesthetic nature of sound through improvisaton, movement, algorithmic processes, found objects, video, toys and acoustic instruments.

Their current projects Theatre of Objects and Fish & Gravel explore elemental soundworlds through combined improvised and composed live performance.
