Toby Wainwright Johns is a classical guitarist and composer of songs; he combines sung poetry with an orchestral approach to his guitar playing. His use of dynamics and texture in both his voice and playing technique add to the earthy and rural stories he tells some of his experiences, both inside and outside of the mind. The Book of Buried Wings is his 4th CD release, promising to be a cut above the fine standard he has already set himself.
